You have been wicked to me - Actor Kwabena Boakye alleges unfair treatment in relationship with Vivian Jill

Ghanaian actor Kwabena Boakye Copson, known for his appearances in Vivian Jill Lawrence’s popular “Abrewa Mafia” skits, has spoken publicly about what he describes as long-standing unfair treatment from the actress.

Kwabena Boakye, a recurring figure in the comedy series and other productions linked to Vivian Jill, shared his concerns in videos posted on his social media platforms, alleging that he has not been treated fairly despite years of collaboration.

He said the matter has troubled him for a long time but decided to speak out in order to clear his conscience and avoid “living in hypocrisy.”

In the video, the actor was seen filming himself in a bush area in Obuasi, explaining that he chose the location deliberately so he could freely express himself without interference or pressure from people around him.

He reiterated that the issue had weighed on him for years, prompting his decision to finally address it publicly.

Kwabena Boakye stated that he has, on several occasions, supported Vivian Jill willingly because he regards her as a mother figure and holds her in high esteem. However, he claimed that when he needed similar support, the response was not the same.

He further alleged that despite his efforts to support her brand and projects, he felt disappointed by how he was treated in return.

According to him, there were instances where Vivian Jill visited his movie sets, and her demeanour appeared unhappy or tense, which reportedly led others to question the state of their relationship.

The actor also claimed that attempts had been made to remove him from some of the projects they worked on together. He alleged that misunderstandings were fuelled by gossip from another actress, which he believes contributed to tensions between him and Vivian Jill.

Kwabena Boakye said he had kept silent about the matter for years but felt compelled to finally share his version of events.

He added that he has more details regarding his experiences and the issues surrounding his professional relationship with Vivian Jill Lawrence, which he shared in accompanying videos on his social media pages.
