Pastor Kwame Ahenkan Bonsu, the ex-husband of Ghanaian gospel musician Esther Smith, has stirred reactions on social media following controversial remarks about his past relationship and admiration for media personality Nana Aba Anamoah.
Speaking during an interview, Pastor Bonsu claimed that if he had ever considered using a spell to make a woman love him in the past, Esther Smith would not have been his choice.
According to him, Nana Aba Anamoah was the woman he admired during those years, describing her as beautiful and praising her eloquence on television.
“If I had to cast a spell on a woman to make her love me back in the olden days, it wouldn’t have been Esther Smith; it would have been Nana Aba Anamoah. In those days, Nana Aba was a beautiful woman; she used to speak good English on TV, but Esther was nobody,” he stated.
His comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with many social media users debating the appropriateness of his remarks about his former wife.
Pastor Bonsu and Esther Smith were previously married, but their relationship ended publicly years ago amid controversies that attracted significant media attention in Ghana.
