Ghanaian singer Sista Afia has disclosed that she was extremely nervous the first time she performed alongside award-winning rapper Sarkodie at the Rapperholic Virtual Concert.
Speaking in an interview on Angel FM Kumasi 96.1, the “Jeje” hitmaker revealed that she was “shivering” throughout the performance because she felt shy around the rapper, whom she greatly admires.
According to Sista Afia, the experience remains unforgettable, adding that she still feels shy whenever she is around Sarkodie despite having worked with him before.
“I was shivering the very first time I performed with Sarkodie at the Rapperholic Virtual Concert. To be honest, I was shy around Sarkodie, and even today, I’m still shy around him,” she stated.
Her revelation has since generated reactions on social media, with many fans expressing excitement over her candid confession and admiration for the rapper.
Sista Afia and Sarkodie have collaborated on a number of projects over the years, earning praise from music lovers for their chemistry and performances.
Sarkodie, regarded as one of Africa’s most influential rappers, continues to command admiration from both fans and fellow artistes within the Ghanaian music industry.
