Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has expressed deep admiration for fellow musician Stonebwoy, describing him as a younger brother despite their well-known history of rivalry in the music industry.
Speaking about their relationship, Shatta Wale noted that although disagreements and competition are common among artistes, it is also important to recognise and appreciate one another’s contributions to the industry.
He explained that Ghanaian musicians often do not receive enough support and therefore must consciously promote unity and mutual respect when necessary.
“Everywhere I go, I want people to know that Stonebwoy is my little brother. I love him so much,” Shatta Wale said, emphasising that his admiration for Stonebwoy remains unchanged despite their past rivalry.
His comments have sparked conversations among fans, with many viewing it as a positive step toward easing tensions between two of Ghana’s biggest dancehall stars.
Industry observers note that the relationship between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy has long been marked by both competition and occasional reconciliation efforts, making such public statements significant for Ghana’s music scene.
