Ghanaian actress Pascaline Edwards has spoken about the unusual experiences she encountered during her childhood, saying they left her confused for many years.
According to the actress, she began seeing things at a very young age that no one else around her appeared to notice.
In an interview with ZionFelix on YouTube, Pascaline explained that she always felt different from other children and sensed that people around her recognized it as well.
She said many people often described her as someone who behaved beyond her age, a perception she believes reflects her unique nature.
“Sometimes when a child is born, people say the child is reincarnated or behaves like an older person because of the way they talk and act. That is how I have always been. I’m an old soul and I believe I have lived on this earth before,” she stated.
The veteran actress recounted occasions when she would see individuals approaching while walking with friends, only to later discover that she was the only one who could see them.
“I would be walking with my friends and see people coming towards us. At the time, I thought everyone could see what I was seeing. It was only later that I realised I was the only one experiencing it,” she said.
Pascaline noted that whenever she tried to share these experiences, adults often dismissed her claims and discouraged her from talking about them.
“If I told people what I was seeing, they would silence me and say children shouldn’t talk about such things. So I eventually learned to keep it to myself,” she explained.
As she grew older, she sought answers from religious leaders in an attempt to understand what she was experiencing. However, she said the explanations she received did not fully satisfy her curiosity.
“I wanted to understand why I could see things that others couldn’t, so I consulted some pastors. But most of the explanations they offered didn’t convince me. It became something I kept questioning,” she added.
